About Chumpling

The Chumpling Research Hub is a cultural and linguistic preservation initiative dedicated to documenting the evolving Chumpling language originating from Avondale, Lusaka, Zambia.

Our Mission

Chumpling emerged from the streets, conversations, music culture, and everyday experiences of urban communities in Lusaka. The project exists to preserve this evolving language, document its history, archive its vocabulary, and ensure future generations understand its cultural significance.
