All submissions must be original human-generated content.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or any other AI language model to generate dictionary entries, forum posts, comments, or any other content on this platform is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
⚠️ Consequences of AI Use:
- First offense: Warning and removal of AI-generated content
- Second offense: Temporary suspension (30 days)
- Third offense: Permanent removal from the platform
- Immediate removal: For businesses or organizations found using AI to generate bulk content

📋 General Platform Rules
1. Authenticity of Submissions
- All dictionary entries must be genuine Chumpling (or other language) words with real usage evidence
- Voice recordings must be your own voice
- Do not submit fabricated or invented words without evidence
- Cite sources for linguistic claims where possible
2. Respectful Conduct
- Treat all community members with respect
- No harassment, hate speech, or personal attacks
- No discriminatory language based on tribe, gender, religion, or any other characteristic
- Disagree constructively - focus on the content, not the person
3. Content Standards
- No obscene, offensive, or inappropriate content
- No spam or repetitive posting
- No commercial advertising without permission
- No malicious links or harmful content
- Voice notes must be clear and appropriate (no background noise or offensive language)
4. Intellectual Property
- Respect copyright - do not submit content you do not own
- YouTube links and evidence must be properly attributed
- You retain ownership of your original submissions
- By submitting, you grant CLES license to display and distribute your content
5. Data Privacy
- Protect your account credentials
- Do not share personal information of others without consent
- Report any security concerns immediately
6. Payment and Compensation
- All payments are processed according to the independent contractor agreement
- Fraudulent activity will result in immediate removal and legal action
- Invoices must be accurate and truthful
⚖️ Enforcement
Violation of these rules may result in:
- Warning notification
- Content removal
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Forfeiture of any unpaid compensation (if applicable)
- Reporting to relevant authorities (for illegal content)
📧 Appeals Process
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may appeal by:
- Emailing appeals@cles.zm with your username and the decision you are appealing
- Providing evidence to support your appeal
- Allowing up to 7 business days for review
The appeals committee will make a final decision, which will be communicated to you via email.
